Leonardslee Gardens are set in a romantic 240-acre valley with walks around seven beautiful lakes. A paradise in spring when banks of sumptuous Rhododendrons and Azaleas overhang paths lined with bluebells. Wildlife abounds - yes literally! Wallabies are used as environmentally-friendly mowing machines to maintain the grassy banks in the valley and can often be seen with a baby in the pouch in spring. Deer roam in the parks, and wildfowl on the lakes. Enjoy the medal-winning bonsai exhibition in a secluded courtyard, and the Loder family collection of Victorian Motor Cars, all over 100 years old and in working order. A new exhibition "Behind the Dolls House" shows a country estate in miniature 1/12th scale. There is a restaurant and gift shop and a large selection of plants for sale.
